Orlando can be a very romantic location, especially on Valentine’s Day.  Here are just a few suggestions for YOUR romantic day:

Walt Disney World Resorts can be a wonderful place for romance.  You could surprise your loved one with a spa treatment, or stroll along the beach at the Polynesian and watch the Wishes nighttime spectacular fireworks showThe Disney Florist (407-827-3505) can help you Order flowers or champagne and help you with ideas to make the event spectacular.  Or, you can order a special Valentines gift from the Disney Store online.  Disney also has some popular options for marriage proposals.  They offer an all inclusive dinner at Cinderella’s Royal Table featuring a specially created Chocolate Slipper Dessert, an engraved Glass Slipper in which the ring is presented, champagne flutes and more. (Call 407-824-4477 for pricing, details and proposal arrangements.)  Cinderella’s Castle is a wonderful backdrop when proposing, and there are always Disney photographers close by.  If you want to avoid having a bazillion strangers in the background of your photo, head to the castle and go to the photo spot on the right; you’ll have a railing behind you instead of other guests. There’s a similar spot in front of the Crystal Plaza Restaurant. You can also have a romantic dinner at one of the many great restaurants. The California Grill features gourmet meals and fantastic views, including watching the fireworks over Cinderella Castle. Both Citricos and Narcoosee’s, at the Grand Floridian Resort and Spa have a romantic atmosphere. The Grand Floridian is so beautiful and romantic; it’s a great place to walk around in the evening outside of the resort.  Another great place to dine is Jiko at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge. They have incredible food, and the atmosphere can be very romantic.  You can also head out to the savannah and watch the animals, or listen to the African storytellers around a fire pit.
