You don’t have to be a gardening enthusiast to appreciate this event; it is an amazing display even for those like me who do NOT have a green thumb. This year, the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival flourishes from March 2 to May 15, 2011. This special event features live music and educational events along with beautiful and colorful displays of flowers, gardens, and amazing topiaries

This year’s event blooms with over 75 Disney Characters brought to life in topiary, with new additions that include Woody, Buzz Lightyear and Lotso from Disney·Pixar Toy Story 3 and Lightning McQueen from Cars 2. Some of the nation’s top designers will be on hand to help you plan everything from planting your first garden to enhancing your home’s curb appeal. HGTV stars Vern Yip and Genevieve Gorder, will be on hand, as well as Epcot’s own gardening experts. Be sure to check out festival favorites Bambi’s Butterfly House and Rapunzel’s Tower, inspired by the new animated movie, Tangled.
