Well, Halloween is long gone and all the major scary theme park events have vanished like, well, a ghost, but downtown Orlando has a year-round attraction that may be even scarier.  American Ghost Adventures offers a tour of the unexplained spirit world.  This night-time walking tour will lead you through historic downtown Orlando.  Tour guests are invited to bring their own cameras or video recorders, and are even issued EMF detectors.  (An EMF detector is an Electromagnetic field meter that covers frequencies from 30-20,000 Hz, a great instrument for paranormal research!)  You may even come back from this tour with actual Orbs in your photos!

The informative guides will take you on a 2-hour walking tour to visit some very historical, very haunted places, such as Church Street Station, the first public cemetery, a haunted furniture store/funeral parlor, and even an infamous bordello.  The evening wraps up inside Orlando’s old courthouse, which is now the Orange County Regional History Center.  There are also some special 4-hour tours coming up, which include a Greenwood Cemetery investigation and a May-Stringer House investigation.  Also coming soon is the Deland Downtown Ghost Tour.

Well, whether you’re a believer or not, you need to check this out for yourself; this tour may change your mind.  Be sure to bring a camera, with extra memory and batteries.  It’s advised that you take several photos right in a row…when you look at them later, you may see an Orb in one, but not the other one.  Also, take photos with people in them, it’s said that the spirits need our energy to appear.

The tours are held nightly at 8:00, but a reservation is required.  Call 407-256-6225 or you can go to their website to reserve your spot.
