Celebrating its 20th year, the 2015 Epcot International Food & Wine Festival will be held from , 2015. You will need to purchase admission to Epcot Center to participate in this delicious wine and dine event. A Festival Welcome Center features a Wine Shop where you can purchase your favorite selections that you have tasted on your way out of the park. For the first time ever, the festival will offer its own wine for sale. The bottles of Chardonnay and Cabernet come with a special 20th anniversary imprinted cork.

Appetizer sized portions usually range in price from $4.00 – $8.00 and provide the perfect opportunity to try traditional cuisine from around the world. This year’s Food and Wine Festival will play host to seminars, tasting events and sumptuous dinners overseen by top Disney Chefs as well as renowned guest Chefs. Over the course of the Festival, there will be mixology seminars, culinary demonstrations and wine/beverage seminars, most with complimentary samples.

This is a time for Disney to introduce fare from any new restaurants that have opened during the past year. For example, in 2010, grand openings were held for Via Napoli at the Italy pavilion and La Hacienda de San Angel at the Mexico Pavilion. This year, Dominican Republic returns, replacing the Puerto Rico marketplace. More than 25 international marketplaces are featured.

Orlando Tourist Tip: Buy a Food and Wine Festival gift card and pay your way around the World Showcase. It’s much easier and quicker than digging for cash or credit cards as you go from location to location.

In 2010 the concert series entitled, EAT TO THE BEAT was introduced and was so successful, it has returned year after year. It is a series of short concerts held in conjunction with the International Food and Wine Festival. Just another reason to visit Epcot during this event.
