On Saturday, October 9th, SeaWorld Orlando welcomed a new 7-foot long, 350-pound baby killer whale.  We do not yet know the gender of the calf, and they have not named it yet.  The newborn was the 7th calf born to Katina, its 18-foot long, 5,400-pound mom.  The newborn and mother can be viewed at Shamu Stadium, but this will be on a day-by-day basis, so you can contact SeaWorld’s call center at 888-800-5447 to see when they will be there.  This is the 16th killer whale to be born at SeaWorld Orlando.
