This summer, guests at SeaWorld Orlando will be treated to two new shows. Generation Nature LIVE and Shamu’s Celebration: Light Up The Night are not to be missed. The all-new nighttime show, Shamu’s Celebration, begins this Saturday, June 21, 2014. It is a high energy show featuring new music and killer whale behaviors.
The daytime show, Generation Nature LIVE also starts on the Summer Solstice and provides a way for guests to connect with animals and explore nature. Guests can meet SeaWorld personnel that are directly involved with animal rescue and rehabilitation. They will share their unique stories about the many animals they have rescued and care for. Along the way, this Orlando theme park is hoping guests will discover how they can take part in protecting wildlife within their own habitats.
ORLANDO TOURIST TIP: Guests can save $15 on a ticket valid any day of the week when purchasing a new ticket called “Your Day, Priced Your Way.” Providing your schedule is flexible, you can save even more. These tickets are valid for one day’s admission and must be used within one year from the date of purchase. You must also be a U.S. resident and order tickets directly from SeaWorld.
If it has been awhile since you’ve visited this Orlando theme park, these new summer shows are not the only thing you’ll not want to miss. Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin is a fairly new attraction and is quite the adventure to experience. Explore a massive penguin colony of more than 250 penguins! A family-friendly ride, Antarctica, is a great way to gain an up-close view of these animals.
Let’s also not forget about Manta. This favorite among roller coaster enthusiasts will have you gliding around the theme park like a manta ray. It is especially fun to ride at night. And speaking about night time fun, make sure to join the Shamu’s Dance Party at the Village Square located in front of the park. It opens one hour before the park closes, and a half hour after – for those who just aren’t ready to call it a day.
Summer Nights ends August 10, 2014. For more information visit SeaWorldOrlando.com.
