The 2015 special event lineup for Legoland Florida will feature a new event, a Lego Club Weekend featuring the Lego Star Wars Miniland model display. This event will take place February 21 and 22. Star Wars fans of all ages will want to participate in character meet and greet opportunities. Who wouldn’t want to see a Lego Darth Vader?! There will be other out-of-this-world fun such as building activities, costume contests, giveaways and an interactive guided Lego Star Wars Miniland Tour.

ORLANDO TOURIST TIP: If you’ve got a Star Wars super fan in your family, make plans to return to Florida between May 15 and June 14, 2015. Disney’s Hollywood Studios puts on a galactic special event each weekend during Star Wars™ Weekends and the force will be with you unlike any Florida vacation you’ve ever experienced! It may seem like a galaxy far, far away, but May will be here before you know it! Plan this Orlando vacation now!

Later in the spring (March 28) Legoland will reopen its Water Park which can fill an entire day of water play. Build your own Lego inner tubes and float down a 1,000-foot lazy river! Many other fun features are included in this Central Florida Water Park. Be sure to include it in your ticket, which will cost a little more than your park-only ticket.

On April 11 Legoland will host the Brick Dash 5k Run and Walk. This special event benefits the Winter Haven Foundation’s Fund for Women and Children. All ages can participate. After the run/walk, enjoy exclusive discounts to enjoy the theme park!

It all heats up in July with the annual Red, Brick & Boom event celebrating the 4th of July from the 3rd to the 5th of July. Build a brick flag! Then watch the fireworks through special glasses that convert the explosions into flying bricks!

Legoland Fireworks Show

Brick-or-Treat returns again this year on select dates in October. This safe, family-friendly Halloween festival features trick-or-treating, build activities, a haunted scavenger hunt, the largest Lego jack-o-lantern and more! If you’re vacationing in the area during this fall holiday, be sure to enter your kids into the costume contests and win prizes!

The holiday season will feature Legoland’s Christmas Bricktacular on select dates throughout December. See a 30-foot tall Christmas tree made of 270,000 Lego bricks! Of course Santa and his reindeer are at this theme park too. The fireworks also return for this special event.

Kid Standard Time (otherwise known as 7:00 p.m.) marks the count down Kids’ New Year’s Eve event. Watch a giant Lego brick drop. It is fun for the entire family.

Legoland is a fun Florida theme park to attend any time of the year. It just gets better with a special event involved. Be sure to check their web site for special theme park ticket deals. You’ll often find Florida resident deals and other multi-day vacation packages. In fact, they are currently promoting a Pick-A-Date and Save Deal which can discount your ticket up to $15! This time of the year has fewer crowds, so you can experience more attractions within the park. Perfect for 2 to 12 year olds!
