Primary Theme Parks

Depending upon how long you will be visiting, you will have some difficult choices on choosing where to go and what to do, especially between the primary theme parks. Families on vacation with young children should definitely visit the Magic Kingdom at the Walt Disney World Resort. It is the most visited theme park in Orlando. That’s saying a lot because it’s also the original theme park in Central Florida. Younger children will love this park while your teenagers may not appreciate it as much.

Teenagers with the love of wild rides will probably prefer Universal or Islands of Adventure with it’s myriad of roller coasters. If you love roller coasters these parks are definitely for you. While Sea World has a few roller coasters it’s certainly not the main attraction. The sea life is amazing and the tricks they can get the animals to do is by far the best part of Sea World. It’s great for seniors with an abundance of shows that encompass the animal life at Sea World.

EPCOT Center is also typically more of an adult park than one for kids. With it’s many events throughout the year it is a great choice for adults or families with older children. That leaves two major parks to consider Disney Studio’s and Animal Kingdom both are fun parks with a little bit of something for everyone including roller coasters, tame rides and an abundance of shows especially at the Disney Studios. To be completely honest if I were to choose between these two parks I’d visit Animal Kingdom for the variety of offerings.

When planning which theme parks to visit in Orlando do your research and make a decision based upon which theme park works best for your group. If we can help with your planning. please don’t hesitate to ask….now it’s time to get packing!
