Do you feel the need, the need for speed? If you are a thrill-seeker who has always wanted the opportunity to get behind the wheel of a 600-horsepower race car, the Richard Petty Driving Experience is for you! If you don’t want to get behind the wheel, that’s okay too….there are several “experiences” to choose from, where you can ride shotgun with a professional driver.
The Daytona Ride-Along lets you experience 3 white-knuckled laps around the track as if you are qualifying for a race, with speeds exceeding 160 MPH.
For the Daytona High Banks experience, YOU are in the driver’s seat for 8 laps around the 31-degree banked turns of the historic Daytona International Speedway. You will go through a safety training session as well as on-track instruction prior to your ‘race’. Afterward, you will get a graduation packet that includes your speeds for each lap.
The Daytona Super 16 lets you do 16 laps, broken into 2 sessions. You still get the safety training and on-track instruction, but this experience lets you do 8 laps, then you get additional feedback & instruction from the Pit Road and on-track driving instructors. With this additional instruction, you get to go even faster for your next 8 laps. Afterward, you will get a graduation packet that includes your speeds for each lap.
The Daytona Experience is the ultimate, heart-pounding experience where you get 24 laps around the speedway! You will get additional instruction that will help you improve your driving and stay safe. There are 3 sessions of 8 laps each, and between them, you will get additional instruction and tips on how to improve. Afterward, you will get a graduation packet that includes your speeds for each lap.
