Fun for Less at Fun Spot’s Birthday

Fun Spot’s Birthday Blast will be on June 11th. It will be their 18th one! Finally “legal.” On this day you can purchase tickets for only $18. Nothing like someone else having the birthday, but you get the gift!

Fun Spot’s Birthday Tickets

Fun Spot’s Birthday single-day passes will be available online starting at midnight through 2:00 p.m. EST. If you are at the park, they will be sold from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. These passes will not expire for an entire year, so you can have fun for less whenever you want!

Fun Spot’s Birthday Blast

For $18 you will receive a single day pass that includes all of the rides and Gator Spot (only at the Orlando’s location). The SkyCoaster ride and arcade will require additional expenses, but hey, you’re already saving money. ORLANDO TOURIST TIP: If you have another $18 to spend, check out the photo deal while you’re at the Orlando attraction. The Fun Spot’s Birthday photo deal includes a 4” x 6” photo and 4 wallet-sized photos. Key chains with your photo can be made for an additional $1.99 each. These make excellent souvenirs and help preserve your Orlando vacation.

If you will be attending Fun Spot’s Birthday Blast on June 11th, enjoy the party. There will be entertainment, music, giveaways and more. This Orlando attraction can easily fill the better part of an entire day. Children really love it.

Fun Spot Orlando is located at 5700 Fun Spot Way, Orlando, FL 32819; phone: 407-363-3867. The Kissimmee Fun Spot is located at 2850 Florida Plaza Blvd., Kissimmee FL 34746; phone: 407-397-2509. Both locations offer a lot of fun, however, the Orlando location is still our recommendation (if you have the option of either attraction).

ORLANDO TOURIST TIP: If lodging near or on International Drive, be sure to check out the I-drive trolley as a way to get to Fun Spot. The trolley is one of the best ways to get around this busy tourist area. For just a few dollars, it is a great way to have fun for less – money and hassle!

A New Spot in Orlando to See Alligators

Many tourists are fascinated with seeing alligators in Florida. They can be seen in the wild if you know where to go (and have a little luck). Go on an airboat ride offered outside Orlando or Kissimmee and chances are you’ll be able to spot a few alligators. Some commuters even see them while driving over the bridges and overpasses near retention ponds, swimming in Lake Jessup and sunning on the banks of surrounding bodies of water. However, if you want to be guaranteed to see a live alligator while visiting Florida, the best place has always been Gator Land. However, now there is a new spot in Orlando to see gators on International Drive!

Gator Land and Fun Spot America have teamed up and have created a new attraction called Gator Spot. The new attraction opened in March of 2015. It showcases alligators up to 12 feet in length, and the new attraction also is home to some birds and other unique animals. The 15,000 square-foot reptile oasis allows guests to see a wide array of alligators, an extremely rare “white” alligator, numerous crocodiles and more.

Gator Spot coming to Orlando

ORLANDO TOURIST TIP: This is a great place to have an up-close encounter with an alligator AND a perfect photo opportunity to share with your friends. However, if your goal is to see wild alligators (without paying for rides you will not go on), be sure to spend a day at Gator Land. They offer up-close encounters and a whole lot more. If seeing alligators on your Florida vacation is a priority, don’t miss out! While the airboat rides are great, you are not guaranteed to see any gators, nor will you be able to have your photo taken with one.

Admission to the new Orlando attraction at Fun Spot America costs $6 per person. Already known as a 1-day attraction, this new addition at Fun Spot offers another reason to spend a day at this smaller, lesser-known Orlando theme park. Even if you only have a half day, this is a great place for families with teens and younger children to get out and play for awhile.

ORLANDO TOURIST TIP: If you are choosing a place to stay during your Orlando vacation, keep in mind that Gator Land also partners with Gaylord Palms Resort. Resident guests at this Orlando resort include 15 juvenile alligators and 30 native species of turtles. They are part of the “Best of Florida” exhibit.

Fun Spot America: The Fun “Spots” Here

Be sure to include Fun Spot America while creating your itinerary for your Orlando attraction vacation. This attraction, which is located near Universal Studios Orlando on International Drive, is the perfect getaway from the major theme parks. This amusement park should be experienced by everyone.

Fun Spot America in Orlando, Florida

For over sixteen years, Fun Spot America Orlando amusement park has provided a different fun for Florida vacationers. Due to its popularity, a sister site in Kissimmee, “Fun Spot USA,” was opened. The rides and fun at this amusement park have the potential of creating additional openings in other Florida cities, maybe other states, so keep an eye out for one near you.

Go-Karts Set Fun Spot America Apart

What makes this amusement park so different from the theme parks is the founding, and creation, of it revolves around Go-Karts. Yes, that is correct. Go-Karts, thrill rides and arcade games put the “fun” in “Fun Spot.”

This is heaven for the Go-Kart enthusiast! What is spectacular is they not only have the four multi-level tracks, but they also have tracks available for kids in the “Kid Spot” of the amusement park. Smaller tracks of Go-Karts as well as smaller amusement thrill rides are available here.

Some of the excitement available at “Fun Spot America Orlando” is: Four Multi-Level Tracks, yes, that is FOUR multi-level Go-Kart Tracks, thirteen exciting thrill rides, eight pre-school kids’ rides, and 120 arcade games to choose from. Some of the tracks might seem intimidating. One track takes many twists and turns while the track becomes elevated in some areas.

This Orlando attraction offers rides and games for the entire family. Age is not a consideration for visiting this park, besides knowing which ride to put the kiddies on. Yes, that is basically like the major theme parks but, without the crowding, it is much easier for parents to watch their children while having fun themselves.

For larger kids and adults, Bumper Boats, the Ferris Wheel, Bumper Kars, the famous Scrambler, and the Paratrooper are available. The Paratrooper is a different take-off of the Ferris wheel. Be sure to also experience the newer SkyCoaster ride.

Arcade Fun

A break from the Go-Karts and thrill rides is provided inside a 10,000 foot “winners circle” arcade containing 120 different fun-filled arcade games. There is a game for every member of the family to partake in at Fun Spot America.

This Orlando attraction provides the Go-Kart tracks that any surrounding major theme park cannot offer. These multi-level tracks will keep you going all day, while dividing your time up riding the thrill rides available. An experience that can only be seen by doing.

Make this Orlando attraction part of your vacation. Have the same amount of fun while taking a break from the large theme and water parks. ORLANDO TOURIST TIP: Fun Spot America Orlando offers the choice for visitors to pay per ride or to purchase an all-day pass. This choice is not an option at other parks. So, when you’re ready to take a break, come to the “Fun Spot America Orlando” and relax in the fun.

Spotlight: Fun Spot Go-Carts

I had the pleasure of meeting Fun Spot’s Director of Marketing, Mark Brisson at Fun Spot’s International Drive location. I must confess I had never visited one of the Fun Spots, but I have to tell you, they have a go-cart track that amazed me. Mark told me that the track that soared overhead around the park was in the top twelve go-cart tracks nationally. I certainly could not argue with that. Though I have ridden go-carts for many years, it was a track like none I had seen before.

I was surprised to hear that Fun Spot did more local business than tourist business. Do yourself a favor and visit the International Drive location if you are a go-cart track enthusiast. You have to hit Fun Spot International Drive location to experience two fantastic tracks beyond the one I described earlier; they have a fast track too.

The nice thing about this park is there is no fee to get in and you can amuse the kids while parents and grandparents sit on the sidelines cameras in hand. The park offers different options; you can purchase rides a la cart or buy a reasonably priced arm band. Season passes are also available. If you’re a ride fan there is also bumper cars in water (guaranteed to get wet), there is a ferris wheel that amazes with a light show at night. Have kids that are video game fanatics?  They have a huge video arcade costing a nominal fee to play all day.

Discover a hidden gem on the heart of the eastern side of International Drive by Prime Outlets, or their sister park in Kissimmee near Old Town. Fun Spot is a great way to have a few hours of fun that’s inexpensive and can provide memories of a life-time.
