The Broadway show Wicked, The Untold Story of the Witches of Oz, is here at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Center thru March 27th. This new musical has won 35 major awards, including a Grammy® and three Tony® Awards!

This story is “pre Dorothy”, the story of 2 young girl friends who later grow to become the Wicked Witch of the West and Glinda the Good Witch. However, since this takes place in the Land of Oz, there’s much more to this story. There’s a dragon breathing smoke, a curtain that glitters, bubbles, and streamers shooting into the audience, and that’s just in the first five minutes!

This Orlando show features the superior voices and solid acting of Chandra Lee Schwartz as Glinda and Jackie Burns, as the future Wicked Witch of the West. The New York Times calls it “Broadway’s biggest blockbuster” and “the defining musical of the decade” . Check out the remarkable stage visuals and elaborate score for yourself. And, you can enjoy dinner before or after the show at one of the many great Orlando restaurants.
